Before We Leave the Zoo

And just like that… you’ve reached the end of the visit.
Thirty days. Thirty pairs.
A safari through behaviours, instincts, contradictions — and let’s be honest, a few very familiar tales.

Maybe you smiled. Maybe you winced.
Maybe you thought, “This is so my colleague.”
And then, a moment later: “Wait… is that also me?”

Good.
That means the series did its job.

The Zoo at Work was never about judging or labelling.
It simply held up a mirror — and maybe tilted it just enough for you to see things differently.
To see others more gently. And maybe… to see yourself more kindly.

Some people talk too much. Others never speak.
Some lead with fear. Others lead with cookies.
Some build quietly while others collect the credit.
And many — so many — are just holding everything together with emotional duct tape and a lukewarm coffee.

What this series reminded us is that behaviour isn’t fixed.
We shift. We adapt.
We swing between the Chattering Macaw and the Attentive Bat, the Resistant Salmon and the Following Sardine, the Protective Dog and the Very, Very Tired Turtle.

And that’s perfectly okay.

Because the goal was never to become a perfect creature
But a conscious one.

🪞 After the Zoo

If there’s one thing to take away from all this, let it be this:

Every day, you bring an energy. A posture. An impact.

And sometimes, the most meaningful transformation begins with a simple shift in awareness.

👉🏾 How do I show up?
👉🏾 How do I affect others?
👉🏾 How do I care for the space we share?

From reaction to reflection.
From survival to intention.
From noise to presence.

💛 Thank You

Thank you for walking this journey with Tilé.
Thank you for observing with humour, reflecting without judgement, and letting new insights take root gently.

Work can feel like a zoo.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t make it a better habitat —
one that’s fairer, kinder, and more human.
Together.
